What are you doing this Sunday?
11am – 5pm

This will be our 23rd year of Open Gardens to the west of Hessle, a small town next to the North end of the Humber Bridge. About 20 gardens will be open. Many are within the leafy Southfield conservation area, but there is a free minibus to take our visitors around the peripheral gardens.

Our policy is to welcome all types of garden and gardeners. They range from the mature Edwardian to the small modern garden, with examples of family-centred plots and a sprinkling of the wild and quirky.

Refreshments are scattered plentifully as indicated on the map/ticket. Feel free to sit on our garden seats and enjoy drinks, cakes, bacon butties and cream teas.

Half the proceeds to Dove House Hospice and the remainder to various local charities.
