The Scout Association’s rolling review of the governance of all activities ensures that these remain up to date and relevant. This means that every activity will be reviewed every few years on a rolling cycle.
This process includes the review of governance and guidelines of activities and is designed to remove unnecessary barriers to activities taking place in Scouting, whilst still ensuring they remain safe for our young people and making them easier for Leaders to run.
This initial consultation process is your chance to feedback about your experience of running Nights Away activities in Scouting. Your feedback will be added to information already collected about Nights Away Permit Scheme since the last review and will be considered by the UK Adventure Team and contribute to any necessary updates.
Please submit your feedback on this consultation by 29 October 2017. Please only provide feedback via the survey.
