This weekend is for those with little or no experience, or those with some skills working towards Terrain 1 permit assessment.
The course is designed to introduce you to the principles of navigation along with the leadership and decision making skills required to look after a group in the outdoors. We will look at the various techniques available for navigation and will put learning into practice whilst out walking. The event is also useful for the more experienced to consolidate skills and gain log book experience in preparation for T1 assessment.
The cost of £40.00 includes indoor accommodation, Sat & Sun breakfast and Sat evening meal (excludes transport). You will need to bring packed lunch for Saturday and Sunday.
