SUMMARY INFORMATION

A great opportunity for Beaver Scouts to come and join in with Beavers from across the County, taking part in a fantastic day of fun and adventure. The day will include: Bouncy Castles, Craft, a fantastic performance by The Earthbound Misfits and a great number of other games and activities. Most importantly, there will be a great opportunity to have some fun!

LOCATION

Raywell Park, Riplingham Road, Raywell, East Yorkshire, HU16 5YL

THEME

Air and Aeroplanes.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

The cost of £6.00 per Beaver Scout includes a woggle.
Leaders can attend the event free of charge.

WHAT DO YOUNG PEOPLE NEED TO BRING?

  • Full Beaver Uniform (needs to be worn)
  • Suitable clothing to keep warm and dry (as much as we try, we can’t promise good weather!)
  • Packed lunch
  • Carrier bag with young person’s name on to keep crafts safe.

REFRESHMENTS

Drinks will be available and provided throughout the day

WHAT WILL THE BEAVERS ATTENDING ACHIEVE?

Apart from having a great day of fun, by the end of the day the Beavers will have completed all the requirements for the Air Activities stage 1 badge. It will be the leader’s responsibility to provide these badges

BOOKING DEADLINE

Money and numbers need to be in by 6th May 2019.
Cheques need to be made payable to ‘Humberside County Scout Council’

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

A responsible adult must be available to supervise each group of beavers.
Parking and drop off and pick up will be in Guide Acres, next to Raywell.

This will be to Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster where Beavers will complete part of their Global Issues Activity Badge.

We will be travelling to and from the park via coach, which will pick up and drop off at 2 locations in the District; Raywell Park and Glews Garage near Goole. Everyone will need to bring a packed lunch and drinks with them for the day
