We know that St George’s Day is going to look different again this year (watch this space for more details of this soon!) just as Scouting has looked very different this year too.
It is going to be hard to nominate and write citations for the usual St George’s Day Awards due to this, so we want to make full use of the Commissioners Commendation Award this year, to recognise those that have gone above and beyond in these last 12 months.
This award does not come with a specified number of years service, or prerequisite awards either, which allows it to be given to all those Leaders who have done more than their role description this year, to keep Scouting going at Home.
If you have anyone in mind in your Section or Group that is deserving of recognition for their services to Scouting this year, then please email Linda DC with their name, role and reasons for nominations.
