It is the responsibility of all adults in Scouting to help develop a caring and supportive atmosphere, where bullying in any form is unacceptable. (POR Rule 2.5)
It’s important for everyone in Scouting to understand the important role they play in responding to and preventing bullying. Our Anti-Bullying Guide has been written to help you address bullying and take steps to reduce the chances of it happening in your Group or section.
We created activity packs for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, in partnership with Beatbullying.These packs can still be used in the sections.
Beatbullying has now closed, but Childline and Kidscape can provide help and advice about bullying.
Anti-Bullying Week 2017: All Different, All Equal
The Scout Association is a proud supporter of Anti-Bullying Week. This year Anti-Bullying Week will take place from 13-17 November. This year’s theme is All Different, All Equal. Why not use this week to develop or renew your Anti-Bullying Code of Conduct?

Vodafone and The Diana Award
If you would like to run a more detailed anti-bullying programme with your Group or section, our partner Vodafone has developed a bank of resources with The Diana Award.The cyberbullying session could be delivered by Young Leaders as part of Anti-Bullying Week, for example, or as part of an ongoing programme.
