I wanted to follow up from my previous email regarding volunteering opportunities at the Hull Running Festival (10K and Half Marathon) on Sunday 19th April 2020.
As you can imagine, each year we require thousands of volunteers in a variety of roles to ensure our Run For All events go without a hitch and the participants have a fantastic time. It would be amazing to have your support whether that’s a group that can volunteer or individual volunteers; your support is greatly appreciated. It is a fantastic opportunity for your scouts to be involved and provides team work and a community feel; other scout groups we work with always have such a great day and return year on year.
We are looking for a group of Eventeers to support our Baggage area. There is no minimum age just need parental consent. Approximate Shift Times – 07:00 – 13:30.
Many runners choose to bring bags to our events so they have extra clothes to put on once they finish running. As our events attract runners of all abilities you will meet first time runners and seasoned runners all of who will have their own race day nerves. We therefore need a team of friendly Eventeers to help greet runners both pre and post-race to either drop off or collect their bags from. Eventeers will sort bags into numerical order and be on hand post event to speedily reunite runners with their bags and congratulate them on a great run.

Once again, thousands of Eventeers join our community each year and without you Run For All events would not be possible. Our Eventeers are ambassadors whose enthusiasm and commitment creates an atmosphere that sets out events apart from others – high quality, fun, For All.
