Beavers are invited to take part in the first County Beaver challenge in teams of 4 – 6.

They will earn points from the 38 challenges throughout the day to win the trophy for the first time.

PRIZES AND BADGES

There will be medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams

All beavers will receive a cloth badge to wear on their uniform

AGE RESTRICTIONS

No more than 2 x 8 year olds per team

Examples of the challenges are tin can alley, welly throwing, sensory box, beaver jigsaw to name but a few

COST

£5 per Beaver Scout

WHAT TO WEAR / BRING

Beavers will need to wear uniform, have suitable footwear and a waterproof coat.

A packed lunch is required, drinks and biscuits will be provided through the day

SUPERVISION

A leader is required per team plus an additional leader to help run the challenges. All equipment will be provided

ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

Only 2 teams per Colony allowed

There is a limit of 38 teams, so it will be first come first served

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Please ensure that your DC is informed that you are taking part in this event, that you have ‘In Touch’ (FS120075) in place and have completed Health Forms for all participants (Adults and Young People) which are available on the Humberside Scouts website.
